With over 20 years of experience in the financial services and payment industry, Mr. Pokharel is passionate about driving fintech and banking innovation and transformation. As the Deputy CEO of Global IME Bank, one of the largest and fastest-growing banks in Nepal, I oversee the strategy, planning, management, and execution of the bank's digital business initiatives and operations.

Mr. Pokharel has a strong track record of leading and delivering successful projects and partnerships in the areas of payments, cross-border remittance, business relationship management, and risk management. Mr. Pokharel has also completed professional courses at MIT, Said Business School (University of Oxford), Indian School of Business, Indian Institute of Management, AOTS Japan, and IDI USA, enhancing my skills and knowledge in digital business strategy, customer relationship management, leadership, and industrial relations. Mr. Pokharel received the Manager of the Year 2018 and the Excellence in HR Leadership Award 2023 for his contributions to the bank and the industry.
