Shailesh Pandey

Shailesh Pandey is a Faculty Associate at the South Asia Institute for History and Philosophy (SiHP), Nepal. There he is responsible for the development and teaching of the courses in the MA History and Philosophy program and research, specifically in the technology stream. He received his Ph.D. degree in computer science (AI) from the University of York, UK. He has spent over a decade working at the intersection of technology and society, chiefly focusing on digital inequality and ICT policies. His current research interests fall under the broad areas of natural languages, emerging technologies and AI. He also maintains a strong interest in South Asian philosophical traditions.
