JaeJeung Rho served as a tenured Professor of Business and Technology Management at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) for over two decades. After reaching the mandatory retirement age in February 2025, he continues to contribute to KAIST as a Senior Advisor to the Graduate School of Global Digital Innovation (GDI), providing strategic guidance based on his extensive experience in global human capacity building and international cooperation.
He is the Founder and former Director of the Global IT Technology Program (ITTP), established in 2006, through which he led ICT capacity-building initiatives and international collaboration with partners from more than 70 countries, particularly in emerging economies. Professor Rho holds a B.A. from Seoul National University, an M.S. from Texas A&M University, and a Ph.D. from the University of Houston. His contributions have been recognized through the KAIST Award for Excellent Research and the Best Practice Award from the African Development Bank for programs he led.
